Boy with lamb

"At the heart of all the world's spiritual teachings and religions is the common belief that each human being is here to realise God and to serve God in the world – or put differently, we are here to become enlightened, liberated, perfected and then to help others in their own journey along this same road."
So begins our new pages called When We Were Children...

The page turns and we find a story about the famous – and often infamous – baby photo competitions that are sometimes held during our national get-togethers; our 'Joy-Days' as Sri Chinmoy has coined them.

And finally, a growing Gallery of photographs of our New Zealand Centre members when they were in various stages of childhood – that is before youthhood, adulthood or olderfolkhood kicked in! Yep – two pages of images where too much cute is barely enough. Perhaps you will see some old buddies in there somewhere....

"A child is an especially significant special part of God's creation, since God is dreaming in and through every child and manifesting Himself in an unprecedented way. Each child is bringing down a new message from God which was not known before." – Sri Chinmoy.

Enjoy...
